We want you to feel confident when ordering from SDHQ. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to assist you within the guidelines outlined below.
Return Window & Requirements
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original shipping date. All items must be unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and shipping costs, installation/labor charges, and service fees are non-refundable. SDHQ cannot accept returns after 30 days.
Exceptions for Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is defective, or incorrect due to an SDHQ error, we will cover return shipping, waive any restocking fee, and replace the item. All issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery; claims submitted after 7 days cannot be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Special order parts
- Mounted or installed wheels and tires
- Electrical components
- Closeout, clearance, or sale items
If you are unsure whether an item is returnable, please contact us before placing your order.
Refund Processing Time
Once your return has been received and passes inspection, refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the return is complete.
Exchanges & Store Credit
If you prefer an exchange or store credit, please let us know when requesting your RGA. Depending on the situation, exchanges may reduce or eliminate restocking fees.
Return Authorization (RGA Required)
All returns require a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.
To request an RGA:
- Complete our return form, or
- Email us at help@sdhqoffroad.com
When shipping your return, clearly write the RGA number on the outside of the package and send it to:

Packages without an RGA number may be refused.
Return Shipping Guidelines
Standard returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Customers are responsible for packaging items securely to prevent damage during transit. SDHQ is not responsible for damage that occurs during the return shipment.
Orders with Free Shipping
For orders that included free or promotional shipping, refunds will reflect the product price minus:
- The actual outbound shipping cost
- Applicable restocking fees (unless an exception applies)
