74 Weld exclusive Fox 3.0 shock package for 6th Gen Ford Broncos. This kit provides a 1-2″ lift over the stock suspension and can be run with our without Portals.
This shock package was created as a collaboration project between us and Fox’s race department. The shafts, inner bypass bodies, piston, and valving were redesigned giving the shock much improved control and ride characteristics
It is a plush ride on the street, a progressive feel though the changed bypass zones, and an overall incredible ride both on and off road. Bypass zones and valving on the bypass tubes have been redesigned to allow it to ride soft on rough roads while still maintaining the ability to take larger hits without blowing through shock travel. We moved from the standard Fox 8 port piston to their 9 port race piston for better control. The piston valving has also been changed to give it a much more linear feel. They also feature both low speed and high speed compression allowing you to dial in the feel that you are looking for.
Everyone who has ridden on this shock gets out and immediatly asks, “what did you do to the shock package, it feels like nothing I’ve ever experienced” This is because it is a mass market shock designed by Fox’s head race shock tuner. It absolutely is that much different.

Overview:
If you are looking for the absolute best shock package on the market that has been truly designed and tuned by the best this is it! We have a close relationship with Fox’s race department from our years of working with them in racing. When we first started building our shop Bronco we wanted a larger shock so we purchased Fox’s 3.0’s. They were too tall so we modified them to bring down the ride height. We then felt we could make some big improvements on ride so we sat down with Fox’s lead shock tuner and went through drawings. We felt with his guidance we could develop a shock that could be both better on and off road. The shock was developed with the following criteria in mind.
*soft floaty feel on the street
*needs to be able to hit a big bump without blowing through travel
*needs to be able to do 30-45mph down small rocky roads without feeling like the car is upset or falling apart
*smash into a curb at 40mph and the car feels planted and doesn’t become unsettled
We wanted to develop a shock that we feel is really good for the average off road enthusiast. This is the perfect all around shock for 95% of people that just want their Bronco to ride a whole lot better. If you honestly plan to drive super hard, let us know and we can add a little more valving but we feel this is the perfect balance. Soft so your teeth don’t chatter offroad, but linear so when you hit that G out you don’t blow through travel and smash your bump stops.
