I'll be honest — I was skeptical about putting a computer in charge of my suspension. Seemed like unnecessary complexity. Three months in I can't imagine going back. It's not a gimmick, it genuinely feels different in every situation. Set it to street mode and forget it exists. Switch to desert mode and it's a completely different truck.
I almost went with a passive system to save money. The difference in price had me going back and forth for weeks. What sold me was realizing I use my truck completely differently week to week — towing my camper, running dirt roads, daily highway miles. No static system can be tuned for all of that. This one does it automatically.
My biggest fear was reliability — I didn't want a system I'd constantly be troubleshooting or taking to a shop. That hasn't been my experience at all. Set it up once, it just works. The touchscreen is simple, the modes are intuitive, and I've had zero issues in 20,000 miles of mixed use.
